“Problems of Sustainable Development of Entrepreneurship”
The scholarly journal “Problems of Sustainable Development of Entrepreneurship” has been published since 2025 by the Research Institute of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan. The journal is registered with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan and is indexed in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).
The journal was established as a specialized academic periodical focused on the analysis of contemporary socio-economic processes related to the development of entrepreneurship, economics, and management in the context of transformation of national and regional economic systems.
The current stage of socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as other countries in the region, is characterized by increasing complexity of economic relations, the growing role of entrepreneurship, and the need to transition to models of sustainable and inclusive development. These processes are accompanied by the emergence of new theoretical and methodological challenges that require scholarly reflection and systematic analysis.
The Editorial Office proceeds from the understanding that sustainable development of entrepreneurship is impossible without a comprehensive consideration of economic, social, institutional, and humanitarian factors. For this reason, the journal is oriented toward publishing research that goes beyond narrow sectoral issues and addresses a wide range of questions in contemporary economic science.
A key objective of the journal is to publish research in the following areas:
- economics and management of entrepreneurial activity;
- sustainable development and the “green” economy;
- digitalization of economic processes;
- foreign economic activity and international economic relations;
- financial markets, the banking system, and investment policy;
- socio-economic development of regions;
- humanities research related to economics, education, politics, and culture;
- tourism development and the service economy.
The journal accepts for publication papers that include both theoretical generalizations and applied research results intended for practical use.
Considering the historically established academic and educational ties between the Republic of Tajikistan and foreign countries—especially the Russian Federation—the journal places particular emphasis on the development of international scholarly cooperation. Publishing research by authors from different countries contributes to comparing academic approaches, expanding research perspectives, and enhancing the journal’s scientific quality. The Editorial Office views international participation as an important factor in integrating national scholarship into the global academic community.
The journal’s editorial policy is based on the principles of academic integrity, scientific objectivity, and freedom of scholarly debate. All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo mandatory peer review. Peer review is intended not only to select materials for publication but also to improve their scientific quality.
The Editorial Office strictly follows publication ethics and does not permit plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or other forms of unethical borrowing. All manuscripts are screened using specialized plagiarism-detection systems.
The journal is published in Tajik, Russian, and English, ensuring that published materials are accessible to a wide scholarly audience. All articles include abstracts and keywords in the three languages.
Authors bear full responsibility for the content of their articles, the reliability of the data presented, the validity of conclusions, and compliance with academic ethical standards. Authors’ opinions may not coincide with the position of the Editorial Office, which is regarded as a natural part of scholarly discussion.
